Wychwood is situated on the second highest elevation on Long Island, with sweeping views overlooking Oyster Bay Harbor, Cove Neck, Centre Island and Lloyd Harbor. It is located on approximately 13 acres in the incorporated Village of Mill Neck. Designed by Henry Corse, the mansion was completed in 1937 and was one of the last great estates constructed during the Gilded Era. The whitewashed brick English Tudor manor house is crowned by a hand-carved slate roof and leaded glass steel casement windows throughout. The main house features nine bedrooms and 11 full bathrooms, all with finishes reminiscent of an English country farmhouse. In addition to the main house, there are extensive landscaped gardens and terraces, a heated gunite pool with poolhouse and a carriage house with staff quarters.
